Metallic Awakening

Metallic Awakening is my exploration, through virtual 3D environments and experimental imagery, of how the female body is disciplined and constrained within social, technological, and cultural power structures. In the work, my body serves as the digital prototype, deconstructed, suspended, and digitally rendered within an immersive space. Here, my body undergoes surveillance, moulding, and alienation. Through an experience of moving images and sound, I ask viewers to perceive the forces that scrutinise and redefine femininity.
